By 2030, smart manufacturing is projected to be the largest market segment, accounting for 45% of total shipments, followed by commercial services and warehousing.
Technological Infrastructure: The scaling of humanoid robots relies on cloud-edge-terminal collaboration and advanced AI model deployment. 5G-A technology, with its high bandwidth and low latency, is identified as a critical enabler for large-scale operations in industrial and logistics environments.
PCB Supply Chain Positioning: Major Taiwanese PCB manufacturers, including Zhen Ding, Compeq, and Nan Ya PCB, are actively positioning themselves to supply the robotics sector. These companies are providing specialized HDI boards, rigid-flex boards, and multi-layer boards to support critical components like head-level computing, motion systems, and joint connectivity.
