What Happened

Record Revenue Growth: GMT Global reported a record-breaking August consolidated revenue of NT$220 million, marking a 10% monthly increase and a 337.8% year-over-year surge. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$1.123 billion, reflecting a significant operational turnaround and robust growth momentum.

Strategic Market Entry: The company has successfully pivoted into the silicon photonics, CPO, and AI high-speed transmission sectors, with optical communication products accounting for 79% of its first-half revenue. The company is also preparing to transition from the Emerging Stock Board to a formal OTC listing by the end of 2025.

Technological Edge: GMT Global distinguishes itself through its end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, from individual components to complete modules, supported by proprietary algorithms and automation software. The company has secured partnerships with major equipment manufacturers and is actively expanding its footprint in the wafer-level optical inspection market.
