Taiwan's leading auto parts chain, Car-Life, saw its share price soar over 60% on its first day of trading, becoming the second-highest valued stock in its sector.

What Happened

Strong Market Debut: Taiwan's largest automotive retail chain, Car-Life, officially began trading on the emerging stock board on the 13th, with shares surging to a high of NT$201. This performance represents a 67.5% increase, positioning the company as the second-most valuable stock in the home and lifestyle sector.

Expansion Strategy: The company currently operates 34 direct stores and has launched the "368 Channel Plan" to accelerate growth through a light-asset franchise model in partnership with Point S. The goal is to reach 368 franchise locations by 2029, leveraging existing supply chains and digital management systems to scale efficiently.

Diversified Revenue Streams: Beyond its core retail and maintenance business, Car-Life is expanding into high-margin leasing, including a commercial complex in Taoyuan and automated parking facilities in Taichung. These new ventures are expected to provide stable, high-margin income and serve as a key driver for future profitability.

Financial Performance: Car-Life reported a solid first half of the year with a net profit of NT$81.64 million and an EPS of NT$4.08. With an aging vehicle fleet in Taiwan driving demand for maintenance and parts, combined with a large member base, the company is well-positioned for long-term growth.
