Project Completion: Ørsted has successfully completed the 920MW Greater Changhua Southwest Phase 2 and Northwest offshore wind farms, marking a significant milestone in its Taiwan operations. These facilities have now entered the operations and maintenance phase, providing green power to corporate clients.
Operational Capacity: The local maintenance team will manage the combined 1.82GW Greater Changhua wind farm cluster, which generates enough clean energy to power approximately 2 million Taiwanese households annually. This expansion solidifies Ørsted's position as a key player in Taiwan's renewable energy sector.
Strategic Partnerships: Ørsted maintains a 50-50 joint venture with Cathay Life Insurance for the 583MW Northwest project and has agreed to transfer a 55% stake in the Southwest Phase 2 project to Cathay Power.
