Year-to-date revenue has grown by 5.76%, highlighting the company's strong competitive position in smart devices and mobile chips.
AI Growth Drivers: MediaTek is aggressively expanding its AI footprint, with its TPU project with Google slated for mass production in Q4. The company expects data center revenue to exceed US$2 billion this year, with AI serving as a key growth engine that is expected to accelerate further by 2027.
Strategic Partnership with Nvidia: Nvidia’s US$3.5 billion investment in MediaTek’s convertible bonds marks a significant deepening of their partnership. The collaboration now spans from edge AI to customized XPU and AI Factory solutions, positioning MediaTek to capture a larger share of the cloud AI market.
Q3 Outlook: MediaTek’s Q3 revenue guidance is set between NT$152.2 billion and NT$159.8 billion. With July and August results already reaching 71% of the high-end target, the company is outperforming expectations as growth in smart device platforms offsets weakness in the mobile sector.
