Fullriver Tech, a GaAs power amplifier manufacturer, saw its August revenue surge nearly 60% year-over-year, bolstered by strong defense product shipments and government contract recognition.

What Happened

August Financial Results: Fullriver Tech (5222-TW) announced August revenue of NT$69.51 million, marking a 5.61% monthly increase and a significant 59.94% year-over-year growth. While year-to-date revenue remains slightly lower compared to last year, the company is seeing robust momentum from domestic and international defense product shipments.

Defense Sector Outlook: With the Ministry of National Defense incorporating medium-range anti-tactical ballistic missile systems into its regular annual budget, Fullriver is well-positioned to benefit. The company expects to restart mass production of missile-specific SSPA components next year, leveraging its unique technical expertise and established military certifications.

Drone Countermeasure Systems: The company’s self-developed solid-state high-power amplifier series has already been adopted by overseas defense clients for border and facility security. Domestic interest is also rising, with several potential clients currently in the evaluation and procurement process for these anti-drone technologies.

Growth Strategy: Fullriver maintains a cautiously optimistic outlook, supported by a three-pronged growth strategy involving steady defense shipments, the resumption of missile SSPA production, and the expansion of drone interference systems. Continued investment in GaN processes and RF technology is expected to further solidify the company's long-term competitive advantage.
