ASRock's IPC subsidiary ASRock Rack has received approval for its IPO, planning to issue 6.11 million shares at a minimum of $130 NTD per share.

What Happened

IPO Approval: ASRock Rack, the industrial PC subsidiary of ASRock, has officially received approval from the Taiwan Stock Exchange to proceed with its initial public offering. The company’s board has subsequently approved a capital increase plan involving the issuance of 6,114,000 new shares.

Capital Raising: The offering price is tentatively set at a minimum of $130 NTD per share, aiming to raise approximately $794 million NTD to bolster working capital. Under the allocation plan, 10% of the shares are reserved for employee subscription, while the remaining 90% will be handled by underwriters for public offering.

Operational Momentum: The company has experienced strong growth in the first half of the year, driven by the commencement of shipments for US-based ODM projects in March. Management expects this momentum to continue through the second half of the year as additional client projects enter the production phase in Q4.

Next Steps: Following the regulatory approval of the capital increase, the board will authorize the chairman to finalize the payment period and the official record date for the capital increase. This marks a significant milestone for ASRock Rack as it prepares for its debut on the public market.
