Record-Breaking Performance: Toss Bank reported a net profit of 58.9 billion won for the first half of the year, marking a 45.8% increase compared to the same period last year. This result represents the highest semi-annual profit in the bank's history.
Customer Growth and Profitability: The bank's total customer base reached 15.66 million by the end of the first half, a 21% increase year-over-year. Net interest income stood at 423.3 billion won, while the bank also successfully narrowed its non-interest loss, signaling improved operational efficiency.
Improved Asset Quality: As of the end of the second quarter, the delinquency rate dropped to 1.05%, down 0.15 percentage points from the previous year. The ratio of non-performing loans also improved to 0.91%, reflecting better asset quality management.
Capital Adequacy: The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) capital adequacy ratio rose to 16.64%, an increase of 0.29 percentage points from the previous year. Toss Bank continues to strengthen its financial foundation while maintaining its growth trajectory.
