Investment Strategy Shift: SGOV, which invests in US Treasury bonds with maturities of three months or less, serves as a 'parking' vehicle that offers stable monthly dividends while mitigating the risk of price declines associated with rising rates. This shift reflects a broader market preference for stability over volatility as global bond yields continue to climb.

Leveraged Sell-off: Conversely, investors have aggressively offloaded leveraged products, most notably the SOXL, which tracks the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index at 3x leverage. During the same week, retail investors sold over $1.1 billion worth of SOXL, marking it as the most sold asset in the US market.

Domestic Market Context: While interest in US index-tracking ETFs remains strong, total investor deposits in the Korean market dipped back below 100 trillion KRW. Meanwhile, the balance of credit-based margin trading has risen for three consecutive sessions, indicating that 'debt-fueled' investing remains a persistent trend in the local market.
