Taiwan Stock Exchange Chairman Lin Hsiu-ming unveiled the upgraded IR Engagement Platform 2.0, designed to bridge the gap between listed companies and institutional investors through integrated ESG and financial data.
What Happened
Platform Upgrade: The Taiwan Index Plus Corporation has officially launched the 2.0 version of its IR Engagement Platform, aimed at fostering high-quality dialogue between listed companies and institutional investors. Chairman Lin Hsiu-ming emphasized that the initiative is designed to ensure the true value of Taiwanese firms is recognized within the global capital market.
Data Integration: The upgraded platform integrates capital market data, index performance, and ESG sustainability ratings to better align the needs of corporations and investors. By adopting an institutional investor-centric design, the platform enables more efficient screening and comparison of companies while highlighting key sustainability metrics.
Deepening Engagement: Beyond information sharing, the platform now includes an engagement resource center offering practical guides and case studies to improve communication effectiveness. New consulting services are also being introduced to help companies with strong fundamentals but lower market visibility gain exposure and build long-term relationships with investors.
Market Impact: As of early September, the platform has attracted nearly 1,500 members, including over 1,000 listed companies and numerous institutional investors. With 30 engagement cases and over 170 company-hosted investor conferences facilitated, the platform demonstrates a clear market demand for professional IR services.
