What Happened
Competition Kick-off: The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) has officially launched the 23rd 'Campus Securities Investment Master' competition to enhance financial literacy among university students. Registration is open nationwide, with a total prize pool exceeding NT$800,000 and a top prize of NT$120,000 for the winning team.
Event Schedule: Registration closes on October 30, followed by an online preliminary round from November 11 to 13. Regional semi-finals will take place in early December, culminating in a grand final at the TWSE headquarters in Taipei 101 on December 24.
Focus on Financial Literacy: Given the increasing complexity of global financial markets and the rise of diverse investment products, the TWSE emphasizes the importance of risk awareness and rational decision-making for young investors. The competition aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world market practice.
Long-term Educational Commitment: Now in its 23rd year, this competition remains a cornerstone of the TWSE's efforts to promote financial education. By using an engaging, gamified format, the exchange seeks to encourage younger generations to participate in the capital markets with a well-informed perspective.
