Tatung President Chang Sung-pin expects AI data center business and strong overseas power equipment demand to drive double-digit revenue growth next year.
What Happened
Growth Outlook: Tatung President Chang Sung-pin announced that the company is targeting double-digit revenue growth for the upcoming year, fueled by rising demand for power equipment and the scaling of its AI data center (AIDC) business. The company is actively transitioning from a traditional equipment manufacturer into a comprehensive energy infrastructure integrator.
Strategic Initiatives: The company has launched the modular "TTG AIDC CUBE" solution, which emphasizes rapid deployment and cost efficiency, gaining traction in domestic and international markets like Japan and Southeast Asia. Furthermore, a deeper partnership with Tianyu Industrial has enabled Tatung to build a more self-reliant, end-to-end power supply system.
Capacity Expansion: To address the significant supply gap in the North American power market, Tatung is evaluating the construction of a new production facility dedicated to 500kV ultra-high voltage transformers. Simultaneously, the company is expanding its Guanyin and Dayuan plants to boost production capacity for power equipment and large motors.
Operational Transformation: By integrating internal UPS and BBU backup power technologies, Tatung is reducing its reliance on external suppliers and enhancing its competitive edge. The firm remains focused on optimizing its supply chain to capitalize on the global energy transition and data center infrastructure boom.
