What Happened
Taiwan Stocks Reach New Record Highs: The Taiwan stock market hit a historic intraday peak of 48,601.53 points today before closing at a record 47,800.17 points. Total market turnover reached NT$1.02 trillion, reflecting strong investor participation and market momentum.

AUO Leads Foreign Buying Spree: AUO was the primary target for foreign investors, who accumulated over 245,000 shares of the panel manufacturer. Foreign capital also flowed heavily into various active ETFs, including the Uni-President Upgrade 50 and Fuh Hwa Global 50 funds.
Profit-Taking Observed in Other Sectors: Despite the broad market rally, foreign investors offloaded shares in companies such as Wistron, KGI Financial, and Nan Ya Plastics. This indicates a strategic rotation or profit-taking phase among foreign institutional participants as the index reaches new heights.
