Broadband equipment leader Sercomm reported a record-breaking July revenue of NT$7.98 billion, driven by strong demand for 5G FWA and WiFi 7 technologies.
What Happened
Revenue Growth: Sercomm achieved a record-breaking monthly revenue of NT$7.98 billion in July, marking a 51% year-over-year increase. The cumulative revenue for the first seven months reached NT$452.4 billion, setting a new historical high for the period.
Product Momentum: Analysts expect strong shipments of new products, including power amplifiers and WiFi 7 routers, to drive further revenue growth in the second half of the year. Demand from North American operators for DOCSIS 4.0 and 5G FWA solutions remains a key catalyst.
Profitability Outlook: Despite rising component costs, the company is expected to see net profit growth outpace revenue growth due to an improved product mix. Strategic investments in edge AI and DAA equipment are also anticipated to contribute significantly to future earnings.
Market Positioning: As telecommunications operators accelerate network upgrades, Sercomm’s high-end portfolio, including 10G PON and enterprise networking gear, is seeing robust demand. The company is actively securing semiconductor supplies to support the mass production of its latest product lines.
