Inductor manufacturer Sanji Rui-KY is shifting its focus toward AI servers and high-voltage power solutions, aiming to reduce reliance on PC markets and drive future growth.
What Happened
Strategic Business Pivot: Inductor maker Sanji Rui-KY is aggressively pivoting toward AI power opportunities, with AI, server, and power-related products now accounting for over 55% of its revenue. By collaborating with major chipmakers and cloud service providers, the company is securing high-value, customized orders to diversify away from consumer electronics.
Market Growth Drivers: While the PC segment remains constrained by memory shortages, robust demand for AI servers, Battery Backup Units (BBU), and automotive applications is offsetting traditional business declines. Management expects second-half performance to outpace the first half, with profitability improving as high-margin products scale.
Technological Advancements: The company identifies TLVR inductors for servers as a key growth engine for next year, with products already integrated into major CPU platforms. Development of high-wattage power inductors and 800V HVDC components is also progressing, with samples expected in the fourth quarter to meet rising demand from global cloud operators.
Capacity and Long-term Outlook: The new factory in Thailand is slated for trial production in December, with mass production expected by early next year to meet global demand. Long-term initiatives include solid-state transformers and next-generation GPU power supply solutions, which are projected to contribute to earnings by 2028.
