Industrial paper manufacturer Rong-Cheng saw significant profit improvements in the first eight months of 2026, with analysts forecasting a strong second half.
What Happened
Revenue Growth: Rong-Cheng reported August consolidated revenue of 4.596 billion TWD, a 23.2% year-on-year increase. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached 33.131 billion TWD, marking a 15.1% growth compared to the same period last year.
Profitability Turnaround: The company posted a cumulative pre-tax profit of 520 million TWD for the first eight months, resulting in a pre-tax EPS of 0.4 TWD, a significant improvement over the losses recorded in the previous year.
Operational Efficiency: Despite slight monthly fluctuations in August due to market pricing, the overall profit recovery is attributed to successful product mix optimization, improved production efficiency, and effective cost management.
Future Outlook: Analysts remain optimistic about the second half of the year, citing the traditional peak season for industrial paper from September to December as a key driver for continued profit growth.
