Copper clad laminate manufacturer ITEQ announced robust September results with a monthly EPS of 3.54 TWD, exceeding its entire Q2 performance as it eyes long-term growth.
What Happened
Financial Performance: Copper clad laminate (CCL) manufacturer ITEQ released its unaudited September financial results, reporting a monthly consolidated revenue of 5.824 billion TWD, a 110.71% year-on-year increase. Monthly net profit reached 1.286 billion TWD, up 1069.09% from the previous year, with an EPS of 3.54 TWD that surpassed the 3.52 TWD recorded for the entire second quarter.
Growth Outlook: CEO Tsai Hsin-hui expressed confidence in sustained high-speed growth over the next two to three years, noting that order visibility for high-end CCL products extends through 2029. The company expects its M9 material, paired with quartz fabric, to reach mass production by 2027, while samples for the latest M10-grade materials are already being distributed to clients.
Cost Management: The company is facing upward pressure from rising prices in copper foil and electronic glass fiber cloth, with E-Glass supplies being particularly tight and experiencing frequent price hikes. To mitigate these rising input costs, ITEQ plans to continue adjusting its product pricing to pass costs on to customers.
Strategic Focus: ITEQ is focusing on high-end applications, including OAM boards and orthogonal backplanes, to drive future revenue. By leveraging its technological advancements and proactive pricing strategies, the company aims to maintain its competitive edge in the global CCL market amid ongoing supply chain volatility.
