Record Revenue: Inventec's August revenue reached NT$83.27 billion, a 35.82% year-over-year increase, marking a new record for the month. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months rose 40.12% to NT$643.63 billion, driven by strong server demand.
Supply Constraints: While AI server demand remains robust, shortages in key components like memory, SSDs, PCBs, and MLCCs are causing assembly delays. The outlook for component availability in the fourth quarter remains uncertain.
Laptop Shipments: Laptop shipments in August totaled 1.5 million units, down 6.25% monthly and 16.66% annually. Shipments for the third quarter are expected to decline as customers adjust inventory levels following earlier front-loading.
Outlook: The company remains optimistic about server growth but maintains a conservative outlook for the laptop segment due to weak end-market demand. Inventec is focused on navigating supply chain bottlenecks to stabilize operations.
