Innolux announced August revenue of NT$18.697 billion, down 1% monthly, while its subsidiary, Raydium, makes significant strides in the Indian medical market.

What Happened

August Revenue Results: Innolux reported August consolidated revenue of NT$18.697 billion, a 1% decrease from the previous month. Despite the slight monthly dip, the company's cumulative revenue for the first eight months of the year reached NT$167.931 billion, representing an 11.9% year-over-year increase.

Expansion in India: The company's subsidiary, Raydium, is successfully expanding into the Indian market, driven by government-led tuberculosis screening initiatives and growing demand for remote healthcare in rural areas. Significant revenue contributions from these projects are expected by the second half of 2026.

Market Outlook: Innolux Chairman洪進揚 noted that the display sector is currently facing headwinds from rising component costs and weak market demand. While the notebook market remains conservative, the company expects stable growth in the TV and industrial display segments.

Diversification Strategy: To mitigate volatility in the display industry, Innolux is focusing on growing its non-display business segments. By prioritizing high-value applications such as medical and industrial controls, the company aims to stabilize its long-term financial performance.
