Holy Stone H1 Profit Doubles, Bullish on AI-Driven MLCC Demand for Q3

Electronic Technology · Electronic Components · economic_daily · 2026-08-05

Holy Stone reported a 119.5% year-over-year increase in H1 profit, with strong expectations for Q3 MLCC demand driven by AI data center and GPU platform growth.

What Happened

H1 Profit Growth: Holy Stone reported a strong first half with a net profit of NT$1.12 billion, marking a 119.5% year-over-year increase and an EPS of NT$6.73. Second-quarter profit reached NT$642 million, reflecting a 35% quarterly and 179% annual growth rate.

Product Performance: The company's growth was primarily driven by increased production and sales of high-end Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC), which improved overall gross margins. Passive components accounted for 45% of the product mix, followed by active components and system modules.

AI Market Demand: Looking ahead to the third quarter, Holy Stone remains optimistic about demand from AI data centers, specifically for GPU power supplies and Battery Backup Units (BBU). Growth in TPU and ASIC platforms is also expected to significantly boost MLCC sales.

Positive Outlook: The company anticipates further improvements in both revenue and gross margins for its MLCC segment in Q3. This positive outlook is supported by the continued expansion of AI-related applications and robust demand across its key technology platforms.
