July Financial Performance: GSEO released its unaudited July financial results, reporting a net profit of NT$330 million and earnings per share of NT$2.92. Although profit declined year-over-year due to currency fluctuations, the monthly figure represents nearly 50% of the company's total earnings for the entire second quarter.
Strategic CPO Pivot: The company is aggressively entering the Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) market, focusing on critical components such as V-grooves, MT ferrules, and metalenses. Management plans to leverage its existing precision optics and automation capabilities to establish CPO as a primary growth driver for the future.
Market Performance: Driven by strong sector sentiment and the company's CPO prospects, GSEO shares surged to a record high of NT$1,005, marking a significant milestone. The stock has seen a massive rally, climbing over 100% since the beginning of August.
Apple Supply Chain Tailwinds: As a key supplier for Apple, GSEO is benefiting from the upcoming iPhone launch cycle. July revenue reached a six-month high of NT$2.422 billion, reflecting a 39.28% monthly increase and signaling robust demand for its optical components.
