Combined with selling from proprietary traders, the total net outflow from the three major institutional investor groups reached NT$163.78 billion, despite net buying from domestic investment trusts.
Top Sell-offs: Nan Ya Plastics, Innolux, and Formosa Plastics were the top targets for foreign selling. Notably, all four companies within the Formosa Plastics Group appeared on the top-ten list of foreign sell-offs, alongside major ETFs like Yuanta Taiwan Top 50.
Selective Buying: Despite the broad sell-off, foreign investors selectively increased their positions in stocks such as PSMC, Yang Ming Marine Transport, and Compal Electronics. Financial stocks including Mega Financial and First Financial also saw net inflows, indicating a strategic rotation in foreign portfolios.
