Stainless steel component manufacturer Dajia saw its July net profit jump sixfold year-on-year, driven by semiconductor expansion and new advanced packaging technology.

What Happened

Strong Financial Performance: Dajia reported a significant surge in its July financial results, with net profit attributable to the parent company soaring sixfold year-on-year to NT$21 million, resulting in an EPS of NT$0.49. The company's second-quarter performance also showed strong growth, with operating margins increasing for three consecutive quarters due to rising demand for semiconductor-grade components.

Deep Integration in Semiconductor Supply Chain: As a leading supplier of stainless steel pipe fittings, Dajia provides critical fluid and gas delivery solutions to major semiconductor manufacturers, including TSMC. Its subsidiary, Dachuan Research Technology, serves as a long-term partner for TSMC, managing gas systems and equipment maintenance across major science parks in Taiwan.

Technological Advancements in Packaging: The company has successfully developed a low-vapor-pressure precursor vaporization supply system in collaboration with the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre. This innovation improves process yields by 2% to 3% and is positioned for future applications in the panel-level packaging sector.

Market Performance: Despite broader market volatility and a sharp decline in the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Dajia's stock price demonstrated resilience, hitting a record high of NT$85.4 during intraday trading. Investors are increasingly optimistic about the company's growth prospects fueled by the global AI-driven semiconductor boom.
