Chunghwa Cybersecurity announced record-breaking results for the first nine months of 2026, driven by strong demand for AI-integrated security solutions.
What Happened
Record Financial Results: Chunghwa Cybersecurity reported its unaudited financial results for the first three quarters of 2026, with revenue reaching NT$1.743 billion, an 18.6% year-over-year increase. Net profit after tax rose 12% to NT$356 million, resulting in earnings per share of NT$8.75, marking a new high for the period.
Growth Drivers: The company's growth is fueled by rising demand for AI-driven security and robust performance in subscription-based services like SOC, MDR, and DDoS protection. These recurring revenue streams now account for nearly 50% of total revenue, complemented by increased demand for one-time security assessment projects.
AI Strategic Positioning: In response to the growing threat of AI-enabled cyberattacks and internal risks like shadow AI, the company has launched Agentic AI SOC and AI Archway tools. These solutions help clients manage AI-related risks and ensure regulatory compliance, aligning with the industry view that cybersecurity is a critical pillar of AI development.
Positive Outlook: As the company enters its traditional peak season in the fourth quarter, management expects continued growth in recurring revenue and successful project completions. The company maintains a positive outlook for its full-year performance, anticipating sustained momentum through the end of the year.
