Revenue Performance: Lead frame manufacturer AOT announced its August consolidated revenue reached NT$1.65 billion, representing a 6.1% monthly increase and a 43.66% year-over-year surge, setting a new monthly record. For the first eight months of the year, cumulative revenue hit NT$11.193 billion, a 28.26% increase, marking a new high for the same period in the company's history.
Growth Drivers: The company attributed the revenue growth to a significant rebound in market demand, with momentum expanding from consumer electronics into AI, low-earth orbit satellites, industrial control, and automotive sectors. This diversification has led to robust order volumes for power management, discrete components, and microcontrollers (MCU).
Capacity Utilization: Driven by the recovery in market demand and the successful expansion of product applications, AOT is currently maintaining high capacity utilization rates across its facilities.
