Yichun Precision has established a new subsidiary, Hui-Zhi Advanced, to commercialize AI liquid cooling technologies through a strategic partnership with ITRI.

What Happened

New Subsidiary: Yichun Precision has officially launched its subsidiary, Hui-Zhi Advanced, to deepen its focus on high-end thermal management. Supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the company has completed a technology transfer agreement with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to accelerate the commercialization of AI liquid cooling solutions.

Technical Core: Hui-Zhi Advanced will specialize in AI chip liquid cooling modules, micro-channel cold plate design, and high-power thermal management systems. As AI chip power consumption increases, liquid cooling has become a critical requirement for data centers, positioning Yichun to capture significant market share.

R&D Collaboration: Yichun and ITRI have a partnership history spanning over two decades. The transferred team brings extensive expertise in thermal flow analysis and product design, and the two parties will continue to collaborate on next-generation cooling technologies, system integration, and client service to boost Taiwan's supply chain competitiveness.

Strategic Transformation: Yichun's leadership stated that this move marks the group's transition from a traditional lead frame supplier to a high-end thermal management solution provider. By combining precision manufacturing with advanced R&D, Yichun aims to establish a new core growth engine and capitalize on the global AI infrastructure boom.
