Operational Performance: Wiwynn posted a record-breaking August revenue of NT$144.31 billion, marking a 50% year-over-year increase. Management remains optimistic about Q4, expecting ASIC-based server shipments to surpass general-purpose servers by the end of the year.
Capital Expenditure: The company has earmarked approximately $942 million for capital expenditures in the second half of the year, with further increases planned for 2025. These funds are primarily allocated to facility construction in Taiwan and Malaysia, alongside infrastructure upgrades for liquid cooling technology.
Production Strategy: Wiwynn is actively rebalancing its global production footprint, with the newly operational U.S. facility expected to account for 20% of total capacity by next year. While Mexico remains the primary production hub, the company is scaling up liquid cooling capabilities across its international sites.
Supply Chain Outlook: Despite tight supply conditions for CPUs, the company reports no critical shortages and continues to utilize a procurement model to manage project needs. Management is also monitoring the impact of NRE revenue on gross margins as the product mix shifts toward high-performance AI servers.
