The plant is currently handling orders for Chinese smartphone brands while positioning its mSAP (Modified Semi-Additive Process) capabilities as a key growth driver.
Optical Module Strategy: The company is leveraging its mSAP production capacity to meet the surging demand for optical modules in the communications sector. Analysts note that while competitors are constrained by IC substrate shortages, Elite Material is well-positioned to capture market share as it actively samples new products with clients.
Q4 Growth Outlook: Management expects positive developments for its 800G optical module products by the fourth quarter of this year. This shift aligns with the company's broader strategy to reduce reliance on consumer electronics and pivot toward higher-margin, advanced manufacturing processes.
Financial Restructuring: To strengthen its balance sheet, Elite Material plans to reduce capital by approximately 20.602% to offset losses, alongside a private placement of shares. These financial measures, combined with the operational scale-up in Nantong, are expected to bolster the company's performance in the second half of the year.
