International Collaboration: Medigen Vaccine Biologics has partnered with U.S.-based Charles River Laboratories to advance its next-generation multi-valent enterovirus vaccine. This collaboration focuses on critical Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) tasks to ensure the development process meets international regulatory standards while reducing reliance on animal testing.
Domestic Manufacturing Synergy: To boost R&D capacity, Medigen has signed agreements with Taiwan Bio-Manufacturing Corporation (TBMC) and Mycenax Biotech. By leveraging domestic BSL-2 facilities for parallel antigen development, the company aims to enhance efficiency and strengthen the resilience of Taiwan's vaccine supply chain.
Expansion of Production Capacity: Medigen is currently constructing its second manufacturing facility to support long-term production needs. The expertise and process results gained from these partnerships are expected to integrate seamlessly into the new plant, scaling up the company's global R&D and commercial manufacturing capabilities.
