What Happened
Earnings Performance: Chunghwa Telecom reported an August net profit of NT$4.44 billion, achieving an EPS of NT$0.57, which outpaced Taiwan Mobile's NT$0.46 and Far EasTone's NT$0.34. All three major telecom operators are expanding their data center and submarine cable infrastructure to capitalize on the global surge in AI-driven data traffic.
