Pegatron August Revenue Jumps 34% YoY on Strong Communications Product Demand

Electronic Technology · Computer Communications · economic_daily · 2026-09-10

Pegatron reported an August revenue of NT$88.3 billion, a 34% year-over-year increase, driven by seasonal demand for consumer electronics and communications devices.

What Happened

Revenue Growth: Pegatron's August consolidated revenue reached NT$88.3 billion, up 34.1% from the previous year. This performance, the fourth highest monthly revenue this year, reflects a solid recovery as the electronics industry enters its traditional peak season.

Product Drivers: The growth is primarily attributed to the ramp-up of new consumer electronics and communications products for the autumn season. Meanwhile, shipments of information products, including laptops, have remained stable, contributing to the overall monthly growth.

AI Strategy: Pegatron has identified AI servers as a core growth pillar, targeting a tenfold revenue increase this year. The company expects the server business to become one of its top three revenue contributors in the near future.

Supply Chain Management: In response to tight supplies of memory, CPUs, and passive components, Pegatron has begun early procurement to secure inventory. This proactive approach is designed to ensure production stability and maintain competitive momentum through the first half of next year.
