OptoTech's October revenue surged 71.3% year-on-year, driven by its NightJar silicon photonics testing technology, which is now being integrated into mass production lines.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: OptoTech reported October consolidated revenue of approximately NT$51.5 million, a 71.3% year-on-year increase. This marks the second consecutive month exceeding NT$50 million, with cumulative revenue for the first ten months growing 44.6% compared to last year.
Technological Breakthrough: The company is actively promoting its NightJar silicon photonics wafer testing technology, which uses hyperspectral imaging to convert optical loss into actionable data. This approach is approximately 60 times faster than traditional methods, significantly improving testing efficiency and consistency.
International Presence: Management recently presented at major international forums in Europe and Asia, highlighting how NightJar extends beyond failure analysis into wafer-level screening. This capability helps manufacturers classify die risk, reducing unnecessary packaging costs and accelerating yield learning.
Market Applications: With the surge in demand for AI data centers and co-packaged optics (CPO), OptoTech's testing equipment is currently undergoing customer engineering validation. The company continues to advance high-volume manufacturing (HVM) verification, with further updates expected by the end of the fourth quarter.
