Nanya Technology reported a record-breaking October revenue of NT$46.47 billion, driven by surging DRAM prices and strong AI-related demand.
What Happened
Revenue Performance: Nanya Technology announced its October consolidated revenue reached NT$46.47 billion, marking a 487.73% year-on-year increase and the 12th consecutive month of record-breaking results. The cumulative revenue for the first ten months of the year reached NT$311.76 billion, reflecting a significant 602.15% growth compared to the same period last year.
Market Demand: General Manager Lee Pei-ying stated that the AI sector is driving a substantial supply-demand gap, leading to tight market conditions. Some strategic partners are even exploring equity investments to secure long-term capacity, as most of the company's new production capacity is already pre-allocated to meet customer needs.
Pricing Trends: The average selling price (ASP) for the third quarter rose by approximately 60%, largely due to the implementation of new contract prices starting in July. The company expects ASP to continue its upward trajectory in the fourth quarter, though the magnitude of the increase will vary across different product segments.
Profitability Outlook: Driven by rising product prices, Nanya Technology anticipates that its gross margin for the fourth quarter will outperform the third quarter. The company remains focused on optimizing its product mix to capitalize on favorable market conditions and sustain its growth momentum.
