Hantest Revenue Surpasses Full-Year 2023 in Just Seven Months, Driven by AI Thermal Management

Electronic Technology · Semiconductors · economic_daily · 2026-08-25

Hantest reports a 128% year-over-year revenue surge through July, fueled by strong demand for AI chip testing and high-power thermal management solutions.

What Happened

Strong Financial Growth: Hantest has reported a stellar performance for the first seven months of the year, with cumulative revenue reaching NT$2.668 billion, a 128.18% increase year-over-year. This figure has already surpassed the company's total revenue for the entire previous year, driven primarily by the surging demand for high-end chip testing in AI and HPC applications.

Thermal Management Dominance: The company’s proprietary thermal management modules for probe cards have emerged as a primary growth engine, accounting for over 30% of revenue in the first half of the year. Management expects this segment to at least double in revenue next year as thermal management transitions from an optional feature to a standard requirement for high-power AI chip testing.

Strategic Expansion: Beyond thermal solutions, Hantest is aggressively expanding into silicon photonics and advanced packaging equipment. The company is set to introduce its second-generation optoelectronic testing equipment by year-end and is collaborating with Japan's MJC to develop high-current MEMS probe cards, targeting the GPU testing market by 2028.

Positive Long-term Outlook: Looking toward 2027, the company anticipates sustained growth as AI testing requirements evolve across GPU, TPU, and CPU architectures. By diversifying its product portfolio and focusing on high-margin customized equipment, Hantest aims to maintain its strong growth momentum and solidify its position in the semiconductor testing supply chain.
