Thermal component manufacturer Etron is scaling up production in New Taipei to meet surging AI chip demand, aiming for a significant revenue boost by late 2025.

What Happened

Production Capacity Expansion: Thermal component manufacturer Etron is aggressively expanding its production bases in Wugu and Sanchong, New Taipei City. With the Sanchong plant scheduled to begin mass production in Q1 2025, the company aims to increase its monthly heat sink output value to nearly NT$1 billion by the end of next year.

Operational Growth Drivers: Driven by robust demand for AI, custom chips, and networking hardware, Etron is seeing a significant optimization of its product mix. The company expects thermal products to account for over 60% of its total revenue next year as new capacity comes online.

Advanced Packaging Progress: Management clarified that validation for Nvidia's Vera Rubin architecture thermal solutions is ongoing, with entry into the supply chain expected after mid-2025. Furthermore, Etron has deepened its partnerships with major OSAT providers to support CPU and GPU cooling requirements.

Financial Strategy: Having successfully raised NT$2 billion through convertible bonds, Etron has secured the necessary capital for its expansion projects. While capital expenditure is peaking this year, the company plans to scale back investments in 2025 while monitoring operational needs for future financing.
