Taiwan's leading battery recycler San Da Future sees strong growth in the first nine months, driven by expanding EV battery recycling and new corporate contracts.

What Happened

Revenue Performance: San Da Future reported September consolidated revenue of NT$22.175 million, bringing the total for the first nine months to NT$204 million, a 21.7% year-on-year increase. Despite a slight dip in Q3 due to maintenance, the company expects Q4 performance to improve as production efficiency gains momentum.

Business Expansion: The company has successfully secured battery recycling contracts with major ICT distributors and a US-based automaker. These partnerships are expected to broaden the company's recycling sources and strengthen its position in the battery circular economy.

Capacity Utilization: Current utilization rates for secondary lithium battery processing hover between 50% and 60%. With the surge in decommissioned EV and energy storage batteries, the company is well-positioned to scale up operations and achieve greater economies of scale.

Future Outlook: Looking ahead to Q4, San Da Future aims to leverage its technical expertise to capture more business from automotive and 3C brands. The company remains focused on optimizing its supply chain and material sales to drive sustained revenue growth throughout the year.
