Kingcore reported a 10.46% year-over-year revenue increase for August, driven by robust demand for high-end networking product testing and advancements in satellite communication verification.
What Happened
Revenue Growth: Kingcore posted August revenue of NT$415 million, marking a 10.46% year-over-year increase. This growth is primarily attributed to evolving FCC regulatory policies, which have boosted demand for testing services from clients in non-MRA regions for high-end networking and AI-integrated terminal products.
Technological Advancements: The company is expanding its technical capabilities to stay ahead of industry standards, including the adoption of Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7. Kingcore is currently collaborating with major mobile chip manufacturers on R19 pre-verification, focusing on cutting-edge technologies such as direct-to-satellite mobile connectivity and satellite broadband.
Operational Strategy: Management noted that the complexity and scope of testing projects are increasing as high-end terminal products like smartphones, laptops, and robots become more prevalent. The necessity for FCC pre-approval for high-attention product categories has solidified Kingcore's position as a critical partner for products entering the U.S. market.
Dividend Distribution: Following a strong first half with earnings per share of NT$6.04, Kingcore’s board has approved a cash dividend of NT$5.5 per share. The ex-dividend date is set for September 3, with the payout scheduled for October 8.
