Connector manufacturer Fan-Tech reported record-breaking first-half earnings, driven by strong demand in AI servers and automotive sectors, with analysts projecting full-year EPS to exceed NT$20.
What Happened
Financial Performance: Fan-Tech reported a net profit of NT$598 million for the first half of the year, an 11.89% year-over-year increase, resulting in a record-high EPS of NT$9.08. Despite a slight quarter-over-quarter dip in Q2, the company maintained strong profitability with a single-quarter EPS of NT$4.38.
AI Server Growth: The company expects a strong second half as AI server connectors and cables become the primary growth drivers. With high-margin product shipments increasing, Fan-Tech continues to supply major global tech giants including Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Delta Electronics, while planning for long-term product cycles through 2027.
Automotive Sector Recovery: Following the completion of inventory adjustments in the Chinese automotive market, demand from key clients like BYD and CATL has rebounded. New safety regulations for batteries have further boosted orders, with Fan-Tech successfully expanding into the energy storage connector market to diversify its revenue streams.
Capacity and Outlook: Fan-Tech is currently expanding production lines at its North Vietnam facility to accommodate rising demand for server, automotive, and laptop components. Analysts remain optimistic that the dual momentum from AI and automotive sectors will push full-year EPS beyond the NT$20 threshold.
