Chailease Holding reported a 4% year-on-year increase in net profit for the first eight months, with strong performance in the ASEAN region offsetting minor revenue fluctuations.
What Happened
Profit Performance: Chailease Holding reported an August net profit of NT$1.49 billion, bringing the cumulative net profit for the first eight months to NT$14.19 billion, a 4% year-on-year increase. Earnings per share (EPS) for the period stood at NT$7.77, with overall asset quality remaining stable.
Regional Growth: By region, the ASEAN market continues to be the primary driver of profit growth. Profits in Taiwan, mainland China, and ASEAN grew by 4%, 9%, and 11% respectively, with expected credit impairment losses in Taiwan and China continuing to trend downward.
Revenue Analysis: Cumulative consolidated revenue for the first eight months reached NT$64.93 billion, a slight 1% decline year-on-year. While revenue in Taiwan and mainland China saw minor decreases, the ASEAN region recorded a 14% year-on-year growth, highlighting its strong development potential.
Operational Outlook: Although August consolidated revenue dipped 3% month-on-month due to lower solar power sales in Taiwan, new business volume in mainland China showed a slight recovery. The company remains focused on optimizing its asset portfolio and leveraging growth in the ASEAN region to sustain overall profitability.
