Ju Long, a manufacturer of aircraft structural components, posted a 263% year-on-year jump in Q3 net profit, driven by stabilizing Boeing deliveries.
What Happened
Financial Results: Ju Long reported a Q3 net profit of NT$117 million, representing a 263% year-on-year increase, with earnings per share (EPS) reaching NT$2.92. For the first nine months of the year, net profit totaled NT$191 million, a 140% surge compared to the same period last year.
Operational Performance: The company's Q3 revenue grew by 23.8% to NT$198 million, supported by more stable delivery schedules from Boeing. Profitability improved significantly as the gross margin rose from 29.2% in the previous year to 36.5%.
Industry Outlook: Analysts remain optimistic as the FAA eases production caps on the Boeing 737 Max. With global air travel recovering and major manufacturers projecting strong demand for new commercial aircraft over the next two decades, the long-term outlook for aerospace components remains robust.
Expansion Strategy: To meet growing demand from major clients, Ju Long has invested approximately NT$670 million in a new facility at the Renwu Industrial Park in Kaohsiung. The first phase of this expansion is complete, positioning the company to capture future market growth.
