ADATA Technology reported record-breaking July revenue, forecasting that AI-driven demand will keep DRAM and NAND Flash prices rising through next year.
What Happened
Operational Performance: ADATA Technology achieved a record-breaking monthly revenue of 18.38 billion TWD in July, marking its fifth consecutive month of record highs. Year-to-date revenue has already significantly surpassed the company's total performance for 2025, underscoring a robust recovery in the memory market.
Market Trends: Chairman Chen Li-pai highlighted that AI applications have become the primary growth engine for the memory sector, shifting the industry away from traditional PC and mobile cycles. With DRAM and NAND Flash prices trending upward and channel inventories normalizing, the company expects Q3 performance to outperform Q2.
Supply Outlook: Management anticipates that tight supply conditions in the memory market will persist through 2027. As manufacturers prioritize capacity for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), the supply of standard DRAM and NAND Flash remains constrained, potentially leading to even tighter market conditions next year.
Strategic Positioning: To secure long-term supply, ADATA is actively negotiating supply agreements for 2027 with major manufacturers. Despite industry attention on capacity expansion by competitors like CXMT, ADATA believes that strong AI-driven demand will continue to support a supply-constrained environment for the foreseeable future.
