Product Success: NH Investment & Securities successfully sold out its 'N2, IMA1 Mid-term Type 3' investment account product within one day, raising 120 billion KRW. This marks the third consecutive sell-out for the firm, bringing the total cumulative issuance of its IMA products to 640 billion KRW.
High-Net-Worth Appeal: The product saw significant interest from wealthy investors, with 68% of the sales volume attributed to individuals holding assets over 1 billion KRW. This trend indicates a growing preference among high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients for the stability offered by the IMA structure.
New Capital Inflow: Approximately 42% of the funds raised for the third tranche were new capital from outside the firm, rather than existing client assets. On a cumulative basis, over 56% of total funds raised have been new capital, underscoring the product's role as a reliable vehicle for corporate treasury management.
Product Features: IMA products are restricted to large-scale financial investment firms with equity exceeding 8 trillion KRW and offer principal protection if held to maturity. The firm increased the performance-based benchmark yield to 4.5% per annum for this latest offering to further attract investors.
