Footwear material supplier Taiwan Paiho posted its Q1-Q3 results and anticipates a monthly operational uptick as the industry enters the peak year-end season.
What Happened
Financial Overview: Taiwan Paiho reported consolidated revenue of 12.251 billion TWD for the first nine months, a 2% year-on-year increase, with a net profit of 589 million TWD and an EPS of 1.98 TWD. Despite a decline in net profit compared to the previous year, the positive revenue growth indicates a stable demand floor.
Operational Trends: As the footwear industry enters the traditional fourth-quarter peak season, analysts expect Paiho's operations to improve month-over-month. Major players in the sector, including Paiho, Pou Chen, and others, have already reported month-on-month and year-on-year revenue growth in September.
Market Dynamics: Analysts note a divergence in brand performance; while traditional giants like Nike and Adidas continue to adjust orders conservatively, functional and high-growth brands such as HOKA and Asics maintain strong momentum. This shift in brand performance is currently shaping the supply chain's inventory replenishment cycles.
Outlook: With the delivery of autumn/winter products underway, demand for footwear materials is expected to surpass that of the first half of the year. Analysts project that Paiho's fourth-quarter revenue will likely outperform the third quarter, sustaining the company's growth trajectory through the end of the year.
