What Happened
Growth Momentum: KingSlide announced that its Thailand facility began scaling production in July, which, combined with an optimized product mix, is expected to drive record-high revenue in the third quarter.
Semiconductor Demand: The company is benefiting from the surge in AI and HPC-related investments, which are driving demand for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment, particularly in thin-film deposition and etching.
Margin Improvement: Management expects gross margins to improve in the second half as production efficiency at the new facility increases and the company continues to refine its product offerings.
Long-term Expansion: To meet robust long-term demand, KingSlide has approved a $234 million investment for the second phase of its Thailand expansion, securing capacity for future growth through 2028.
