Theborn Korea has introduced a credit card payment system for franchise inventory purchases, with the company covering all associated transaction fees.
What Happened
System Launch: Theborn Korea has implemented a new credit card payment system for all its franchise locations to settle inventory costs. This initiative allows franchisees to pay for orders directly through their existing management software using a dedicated card.
Fee Coverage: To support its partners, the company has committed to covering 100% of the credit card transaction fees incurred. The system was developed in partnership with KB Kookmin Card to ensure a seamless transition for store owners.
Operational Flexibility: The move is designed to alleviate short-term cash flow pressures, particularly during high-demand periods like the Chuseok holiday. Franchisees can now choose between cash and card payments based on their individual financial circumstances.
Strategic Goal: Management stated that this change aims to provide greater financial flexibility for store operators. By diversifying payment options, the company hopes to reduce the burden of cash-heavy operations for its franchisees.
