Semiconductor specialty gas supplier King-Semi reported August revenue of NT$130 million, a 23.93% monthly increase driven by robust demand from Japan and South Korea.
What Happened
Revenue Growth: King-Semi reported August consolidated revenue of approximately NT$130 million, a 23.93% monthly increase and a 93.12% year-on-year surge. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$1.056 billion, representing a 126.36% increase compared to the same period last year.
Export Momentum: The monthly revenue growth was primarily driven by a significant increase in specialty gas shipments to Japan and South Korea. While domestic sales saw a slight decline, strong demand from overseas memory clients effectively offset the weakness in the local market.
Technology Validation: King-Semi continues to advance its TGV (Through Glass Via) technology, which has received positive feedback from clients during the validation phase. The company plans to adjust shipment volumes based on specific client requirements, serving as a potential driver for future growth.
Operational Goals: The company reaffirmed its target of achieving over 30% year-on-year revenue growth for the year. With stable shipments of specialty gases, King-Semi remains optimistic about its operational outlook and continues to strengthen its position in the semiconductor supply chain.
