DingZing reported a record Q3 net profit of NT$165 million, driven by strong demand for high-end automotive protective films and recovering industrial orders.
What Happened
Record Profitability: DingZing's Q3 net profit reached NT$165 million, a 104.7% year-on-year increase, with earnings per share of NT$2.28, marking a record for the period. Both gross margin and operating margin improved significantly to 36.9% and 25%, respectively, reflecting the company's strong profitability in high-value products.
Growth Drivers: The robust performance was largely driven by the automotive sector, where demand for high-end protective films doubled. Additionally, a recovery in industrial application shipments and increased revenue scale contributed to the overall profit surge.
Year-to-Date Results: Cumulative net profit for the first three quarters hit NT$512 million, an 86.8% increase, with EPS of NT$7.09, already surpassing the full-year figures for last year. The company's margins have consistently improved throughout the year, underscoring effective cost management and product mix optimization.
Future Outlook: Looking ahead, DingZing expects steady order momentum across its three core segments: electronics, medical, and automotive. The company has proactively managed supply chain risks through strategic inventory stocking and cost-pass-through mechanisms to ensure operational resilience.
