Chun Fu Precision has delivered its second quantum computer ultra-low temperature vacuum chamber, with a new facility in Chiayi expected to boost production capacity in Q4.
What Happened
Quantum Technology Milestone: Chun Fu Precision has successfully delivered its second ultra-low temperature vacuum chamber for quantum computers, solidifying its position as the only Asian manufacturer with such capabilities. This achievement breaks the long-standing European dominance in the sector, with second-generation product development already underway.
Strong Financial Growth: Driven by robust demand in the semiconductor equipment market, the company reported an August consolidated revenue of NT$272 million, a 56.5% year-on-year increase. Cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$1.644 billion, marking a 42.2% growth compared to the same period last year.
Technical Competitive Edge: The company maintains a significant competitive moat through its expertise in high-vacuum chamber welding and ultra-precision machining. With a team certified by the American Welding Society (AWS) and proprietary measurement software, Chun Fu has established a strong presence in the global high-end quantum supply chain.
Capacity Expansion: Construction of the new Chiayi plant is nearing completion, with operations expected to commence in the fourth quarter. This expansion will significantly increase capacity for high-precision components, supporting the company's positive outlook as semiconductor and aerospace demand remains high.
