Networking equipment manufacturer Accton Technology reported record-breaking August revenue of NT$40.87 billion, driven by robust demand for AI data center switches.
What Happened
Revenue Milestone: Accton Technology reported a record-breaking monthly revenue of NT$40.87 billion for August, crossing the NT$40 billion threshold for the first time. This performance represents a significant year-over-year increase of 59.42%, underscoring the company's strong growth trajectory.
Growth Drivers: The surge in revenue is primarily attributed to the rising demand for AI data centers, which has boosted shipments of high-end 1.6T and 800G switches. Since June of last year, the company has consistently maintained monthly revenue above the NT$20 billion mark.
Year-to-Date Performance: For the first eight months of the year, Accton's cumulative revenue reached NT$246.03 billion, marking a new high for the same period with a year-over-year growth of 61.86%. After a slight dip in July, the company rebounded strongly in August to set a new historical benchmark.
Capacity Expansion: To meet increasing client demand, Accton is aggressively expanding its production capacity globally. The Guishan plant in Taoyuan has begun small-scale shipments with volume expected to ramp up in Q3, while new lines in Nanliao, the U.S., and Singapore are scheduled to commence production next year.
