Kingsemi expects EUV pod shipments to surge by over 50% this year, with a new Arizona facility scheduled for trial production in Q4 to bolster its U.S. supply chain.
What Happened
EUV Pod Shipment Outlook: Kingsemi anticipates a strong year for its EUV pod business, projecting shipment growth exceeding 50% due to global advancements in semiconductor manufacturing. The company expects its operational performance to improve quarter-over-quarter throughout the second half of the year.
Strategic U.S. Expansion: To strengthen ties with U.S. semiconductor and aerospace clients, Kingsemi is preparing its new Arizona facility for trial production in the fourth quarter. This move is designed to mitigate geopolitical risks while deepening long-term supply chain integration in North America.
Diversified Business Growth: The company has seen robust demand for its FOUP and advanced packaging carriers, with sales volumes significantly outpacing previous years. Additionally, the aerospace division continues to grow rapidly, and the company expects to begin small-scale shipments to the Japanese and Korean markets in the second half.
Dividend and Capital Expenditure: Driven by high-margin product growth and investment gains, the board has approved a cash dividend of NT$10 per share for the first half of the year. The group plans to maintain capital expenditures between NT$2 billion and NT$2.5 billion for the year to support ongoing expansion.
